There's clearly a recency bias with these types of lists. In ten years people will be hating on Avengers and the recent crop. The original 2 Batmans are great and the best for many people.
I like the Hellboy and Sin City mention. Hellboy is criminally underrated, but then again most of his movies are.
Many were doing that after the first week.

The film was basically everything I had hoped for... the trailers can
be misleading sometimes.
I had more problems with The Dark Knight than I did with B vs S
The trailers definitely weren't misleading. They gave away the whole movie.

I actually mixed up your post and his earlier. Either way, what he was quoting didn't make sense when referring to the movies. He quoted something about the consensus about Keaton vs Kilmer/Clooney movies.
