Fernandinho has been criminally underrated his whole spell at City. Personally, hes my favorite City player. But lets be real. Everyone said Chelsea would cut City out and we played around with them (yes it was 1-0 but cmon, you saw the game). I'm not worried about United. Double park the bus and Pep knows its coming

be interesting to see how napoli does against city on tuesday.. they started 7-0-0

So the two teams who spent the most money ever are looking the best? What a shock.

Pep isn't anything close to what he is cracked up to be. Did nothing at Bayern, and struggled last season with the most stacked roster. What happens this season? Stack the deck some more and run away with the league finally. City have an impressive team, but is anyone supposed to be impressed by Pep?
Pellegrini would be winning handedly with this team too.

this is rich

why didnt you make this points before losing to Palace?

City and United are saving the EPL. they need to stpend. and they need to preform in UCL

there is no shame in competing on the field, but not in the transfer market. Teams like Spurs and Atletico are perfect examples

And City needed a new set of backs. Just because you like Chelsea wining every year doesnt mean every other team feels the same

Jupp to the rescue breh

I think it's more like Carlo being a complete fcking failure than anything else. Pep received a treble winning team that made 2 finals in a row and failed to make it once in 3 years. I wouldn't say he failed, but he wasn't some great success either. He did a good job, we can leave it at that.

Lmao Pellegrini wouldnt be even getting the players that Pep has gotten. Pep's name alone as able to get him a set of players because they want to play FOR PEP and not another team. This Chelsea clown is hilarious. Meanwhile Conte is ripping up the board for more signings. The last time a team in the EPL scored this many goals at the start of the season was in the early 1900's lmao.

Another point to make. City have had the funds for years. Mancini.. Pellegrini... how many players did they sign that turned out to be waste signings... Bony, Sinclair, Garcia, Rodwell, Demechellis, Nastastic, etc. There were a bunch of these that made no sense and did nothing to improve the team.

In comes Pep with a full summer and he knows which players he needs for the system he wants to employ that has proven him GREAT success.... in comes Jesus, Sane, actual fullbacks, actual defenders that CAN PLAY his system.

But of course its easy to be a fat slob and say "well put any coach with that team and they'll win". Bravo. Great analysis. Pundit A+

Bayern waited a year too late for both Sane and esp De Bryne and are now regretting. Pep trolling Bayern post moves by getting Bayern targets. He also wants Sanchez in January/next summer, another player Bayern wants.

Pep straight up playing Bayern right now
