A combo is also a PG who can play SG. Guys like Kidd and Billups have turned into such. Curry and Westbrook have always been one, imo.

Though, a combo is probably most often used for the guy you don't want handling the ball all the time, but can still dribble effectively and make plays. You also don't want him to be your primary scorer, but he can score in bunches. Basically the player not good enough to play PG or SG full time.

Wade is a combo guard. I think Westbrook is more in the Wade vein: a slashing combo 2guard.

Curry, to me, is a SG who can play PG.

What you think?

Not even close to true and Dwyane Wade from the same era is better at your made up "Point SG" role anyway. He was basically the PG for the Heat every season except his first one up until Lebron and Bosh came along. He's much better at scoring while also getting others involved.

If Kobe had chosen to, he could have easily averaged 14 assists per game throughout his career and become the all time assist leader. He only chooses to score because that is what his team needed the most.
