Default Have you given up on the Yao/TMac regime?

This may be a long shot, but what about something like:

Larry Hughes (need to match salary), Joakin Noah, Aaron Gray and the first overall pick

for

Yao Ming and your first rounder?

Just a thought, curious to see what other people have to say

No we haven't given up. Last year we didn't have enough scorers, the year before that they were both hurt, and you already know the issue for this year. If they can both stay healthy, we have a good shot at going far in the playoffs next year. Plus Adelman is trying to get some more people that can help this team and someone else who can create their own shot.

No we haven't given up on the current duo.

Even if we had given up on Yao/T-mac, we wouldn't do such a horrible trade like you suggested.

first of all, if we have to trade mac or yao it should be yao, not tmac. tmac is the most talented person on our team, yao is the most valuble.

that trade is terrible for us. yao ming and a 1st rounder for that? hell no.

we dont need to trade mac or yao to make this team into a contender. all we need is a reliable 3rd soorer. scolas nice but isnt good enough for a 3rd option.

I at least want to see another full year of these two together on the court at the same time. They've only been healthy together for the majority of the season for one year. That was the year we took Dallas to 7 games, also the first year of the Yao and T-Mac era.

our team has never had a good offensive AND defensive system goin into a season w/ most of our roster already set. in all 4 seasons tmac been here the teams gone thru roster changes, critical injuries, and now a new coach. phx, da, sa, det, all have their teams set (or when they were on the top). weve been a top 10 team 3/4 years macs been here so...other than injuries we dont have that much to be worried about next season. (and roster changes)
