I projected him to be combo guard/tweener who would struggle to get open looks and perhaps playing for his 3rd NBA team by now. Boy, was I wrong.

Tbh I didn't but I also never acted like or thought that he would never be this good, some smart-asses like to mention the athleticism or even size as if that's all that matters, though - not that that doesn't matter, of course, but there's more to it.

im not sold on him yet. hes gotta have more playoff performances and stay healthy and play some frickin defense. He gets a lot of praise for someone who only leads a 6th seeded team with only shooting and dribbling. Still i'll say his shooting has a lot of impact on the GSW.

I didn't think he would become such a great playmaker. He can still impact games even when his shot isn't falling.

There was an NBA tv special of his training and completing his degree, this was during his injuries and stuff....when I saw that I knew he was legit.

I always knew he'd be a lights out shooter, but I never would've expected him to be this well-rounded on offense. His handles, his court vision, and overall ability to run an offense are well ahead of where I thought they'd be.
