Is Diego Simeone the best coach in the world?

He's not very sophisticated as a coach in terms of tactics but he gets the best out of his players in a dirty way. He tries to outsmart his opponents by using non-traditional tactics like instigating, rough play and clever trickery.

He is a good coach but only for a team on the cusp of success.

At the top-tier level...I don't think he can get world class players to buy in. He can be very successful on a team full of misfits and scrubs but can he get players with egos to buy into his non-traditional ways.

If everything was equal...you give Simeone a Real Madrid team vs. Ancelotti with the same team....can he beat those coaches?...and would world class players want to play his style of football?

Tactically brilliant and a great motivator as well.

He is one of the best coaches in the world but not the best. I think Jupp Heynckes is the best. His CL winning Bayern team played the best football I've ever seen.
