I think it had a lot to do with the gay guy that runs the Warriors, too. Jackson doesn't agree with his lifestyle.

The Warriors have an elite defense (best in the league as a matter of fact). That is not debatable.

I'm not sold either. Spurs will expose them like they did in 2013.

Re: Am I the only one who doesn't buy into the Warriors championship hype
they're pretty good. if they beat the Thunder they will win the championship. Nobody else in the West can hang with them.

Re: Am I the only one who doesn't buy into the Warriors championship hype
as others have said, a list of all the concerns :
- no consistent post scoring
- no historically dominant playoffs scorer (durant, kobe, lebron, duncan, pierce, etc)
- no relevant leadership, intangibles and experience (lebron, kobe+phil, duncan+pop, big3 celtics, dirk+carlisle etc)
These things matter alot in the PO game and teams will test the warriors, who are a GREAT RS team, but these things almost guarantee they not getting out of the west. The closest teams to the warriors actual situation were detroit (decent O, won vs a divided laker team + weak east, sheed low post scoring, GOAT D), and a young okc (westbrook-harden-durant on the same team, going against old slow teams-la,spurs,mavs- in the west) that got beaten handily in the finals.

These warriors are dominant on BOTH ends of the floor. That's the difference between them and the other teams OP mentioned.
People don't take their defense seriously for some reason.
