wow, props and respect to real kobe stans who see the light.

2007 choked and couldn't even win 1 game vs a midget finals MVP

2008 silver medal ( if not for kobe )

2009 choked #1 record vs a coward

Only going to respond to a few of these since the rest are irrelevant and only added to make your list look longer than it should be

2015 finals he played without his 2nd/3rd options

2009 he averaged 38/8/8

2010 he averaged 27/9/7/2/1 on 45% played better than kobe did the following round, kobe just had a much better roster

2011 he outplayed kobe

2013 he scored or assists on the last 16 points in the 4th, hit the gamewinner in game 7

2016 he lead in every major statistic, made a play kobe could only dream of doing, most iconic finals moment in recent memory

2017 played against a 73 win team + 2nd best player in the world

2018 played against a 73 win team + 2nd best player in the world

Lebron > Kobe.

Nice b8 m8. I r8 it a 3/8.

Why do Le3for9 stans try to deflect his shitty 2011 performance by mentioning what Kobe did that same post season? What Kobe did doesn't change anything. Lefail still lost to Jason Terry in the finals and is forever regarded as a loser. They can't divert to MJ since MJ never lost a finals, so they pathetically try to divert to Kobe as if that somehow lessens the effect of Le3for9's failure. It doesn't.

G0ATbe:

2015 finals he played without his 2nd/3rd options ( what does that have to do with him shooting 25% from beyond 5 feet and losing finals mvp to a role player he was defending )

2009 he averaged 38/8/8 ( proving me right once again that when he goes for huge scoring triple double averages he hurts his teams )

2010 he averaged 27/9/7/2/1 on 45% played better than kobe did the following round, kobe just had a much better roster ( ditto )

2011 he outplayed kobe ( no. he protected his fg% and pouted in the corner/quit the series because wade was in line for finals MVP )

2013 he scored or assists on the last 16 points in the 4th, hit the gamewinner in game 7 ( and bricked the most important shots, getting bailed out by ray allen. game 7 was the first game he started hitting wide open shots the spurs dared him to take all series )

2016 he lead in every major statistic, made a play kobe could only dream of doing, most iconic finals moment in recent memory ( and still he managed to brick 3-4 shots in the last 4 minutes to get bailed out by a 2nd finals saving shot

2017 played against a 73 win team + 2nd best player in the world ( and yet he still choked game 3. and why is a big 3 not enough to beat a big 4. kobe beat a big 4 with just gasol and scrubs )

2018 played against a 73 win team + 2nd best player in the world ( still had a chance to steal game 1 and choked OT. he still got soft picked off of durant to lose game 3... close the deal both times and you're up 2-1 with a game at home to tie it up

Lebron > Kobe. ( not according to public opinion )

and how are these not choke jobs?

2004 bronze medal

2006 bronze medal

2007 choked and couldn't even win 1 game vs a midget finals MVP

2008 silver medal ( if not for kobe )

2014 choked out by an air conditioner and a softmore finals MVP he was defending

Yep. Those finals taint his argument for GOAT. He's a top 5 player for sure.

2007 Finals I don't think anyone really blames LeBron. Can't really do much when you're surrounded by trash at 22 against a team that has already won 3 titles in the previous ~8 seasons.

Why in all of their 1v1 possession matchups, does Kobe score more on LeFail and stop Le3for9 more that the other way around? This is the end all be all of who is the better basketball player.

How is he even top 5 though when you take all the team hopping and failure while playing on the most stacked team into account? Media fabrication doesn't earn you top 5. He doesn't have any argument over Duncan, Kareem, Bird, Magic, or Jordan. He's been outplayed by Kobe more often than not in every 1v1 matchup they've ever had.

If you don't think at least LeBron > Kobe, you're delusional. And I can't stand LeBron.

How can he be greater when all the data and eye tests show that in 1v1 situations, Kobe came out on top the majority of the time?

"well he's a better passer so 1v1 doesn't mean much"

Is that really the argument for him?
