That is the reality. You can say he plays with 3 HOFers like it means something. It doesn't though. Excluding Pierce, they're all way past their prime production levels. Then their next best offensive weapon is..... Brandon Bass? They really have nothing in terms of firepower, and that's why Rondo isn't getting a great offense.
Tony Parker is a good player, but he couldn't ask for a better situation. He's not a particularly amazing passer, but he's fantastic at realizing when to dump the rock off to the perimeter when defenses collapse (in other words, his passing is mostly based upon his ability to score) The fact that he has tons of shooters around him, and then Duncan keeping defenses close in enough to the basket to keep them honest makes it very easy for him and he looks a lot better then he really is.

I say, what an asinine and ignorant comment completely devoid of any context or understanding, m'boy. Rondo is horrendously overvalued on these boards, wot?

When he plays with his shitty French teammates he does the exact same stuff he does with the spurs, penetrates to the key at will, etc.

Rondo is a player whose entire reputation comes from being surrounded by 3 all time elite shooters.

Parker never played with shooters as good as KG, Allen and Pierce all at the same time. Do you realize Parker would have atleast 3 titles with those guys? Rondo only has 1, and he sucked and was useless in the 2008 finals, his championship year

It's not than he likes Parker, he's just on an obvious Rondo/Boston hater spree at the moment.

Because Pierce (who played the entire postseason with a sprained MCL) and KG are in their prime?

You clearly don't watch basketball.

And thanks for supporting the argument that Rondo wasn't feeding entirely off the presence of prime KG, Pierce and Allen.

Well then it's settled. Rajon Rondo playing defense helped him earn more titles then Parker and net a finals MVP.Wait no it didn't LOL.
