Pippen could be the best player on the team but he doesn't have to be your leading scorer. Malone is the 2nd leading scorer in NBA history. Why would he want the best scorer ever to be on his team? Pippen does not have to be his sidekick.

Yes, but the problem is Jordan is... Jordan... most unguardable in NBA history.. Pippen or Adam Morrison infront of him wouldnt matter, same outcome for him and them... unfortunately :)

Jordan would work well with any playmaking star player. That is why Jordan is sometimes underrated (if that's even possible).

His ability to play off the ball was remarkable. He didn't always need the ball in his hands to be effective.

On the other hand, Jordan was an amazing playmaker. So he would be able to play with any superstar adept at playing off the ball such as Durant, Amare, BG, or even Malone.

Players that Jordan may have a hard time playing with would be players like Melo who don't really play off the ball and aren't very good playmakers.

While I agree with you to an extent, that's a bit of a stretch. Pippen would make Jordan work hard while Adam Morrison would give Jordan an open lane anytime he wanted.

Giving the same effort, Jordan would score 50+ on Ammo (do we still call him that?) as he would scoring 30 on Pippen.
