anyways....I'm almost positive this is a career ending injury. This is it for Houston. Wow, we'll probably lose Yao, T-Mac, and Artest in less than a year.

Sad for yao and also the Rockets organization.. they invested so much in Yao and yao wanted so hard to bring the Rockets a title... one of the most polished big men in the league offensively too.

with that said many people are saying that they are just blowing this out of proportion and that it is most likely season ending not career ending.

What a shame for Yao and for the Houston Rockets. Looks like it's time to trade T-Mac and get some big men in return.

Not to mention without Yao, this possibly opens up a playoff spot for the Suns/Warriors/Clippers/Grizzlies/Thunder.

Yep that is true as well. But he knows Yao more personally than Kobe. His recent news said that he's going to try to let it heal naturally. Right now, It's Yao's decision to play next year or not. If he wants it to heal naturally, he'll sit out the entire 09-10 season. If he has an aggressive surgery than he can come back mid-season. I want whatever is best for him, it could be the David Robinson year for him.

Also, in the Houston Chronicle one of our reporters Jonathan Feigen reported that attempting to get Rubio was not a rebuilding method, Morey just liked him when he saw him play in the Olympics last year.
