+most likely Russ and Mikan, Wilt would've won in 1967 also.
Shaq and Kobe should both be here imo. Still, amazing list.

I understood it as at least 2 MVPs/2 FMVPs/2 titles but if you mean both those guys could've won at least one more MVP, then I agree completely.

also Legends, good catch on Unseld, but you totally forgot Nash for MVP/no titles, Dirk for 1 of each too.

Russell, Pettit and Mikan would also have one if FMVP was awarded before 1969.

    edit: forgot Reed
    Rick Barry doesn't have MVP.

That's what I meant, Shaq should have way more MVPs and Kobe should have at least one more from 06.

Balls, you're right. Forgot the 1975 one went to Mcadoo and not him.

Yeah, Shaq should've had at least 00-01. He was 2nd in 05 too. But he almost always took regular seasons off.

It irritates the hell out of me when I try to move him around my top 10, knowing that he could've been the GOAT

Sampson is better than Billups. You include the college resume (Sampson being one of the GOATs in college basketball history) and it's not close.

It's terrifying to imagine what kind of player he would've been if he had Russell's work ethic. Can you imagine having a prime Shaq in the league for 10 seasons? If he was motivated, in shape and willing to work hard on his weaknesses like FTs? We might've had a something like 34/16/4 guy who fouls out every frontline in every game.

Having that kind of guy on your team is like using a cheat code.

Yeah since being better than prime Pippen for a series is the same as being better than prime Shaq.
