I don't know if its good for Cleveland long term throwing their talent away to please one man.

They did the dirty work when lebron left and stockpiled that talent/assets, now he wants a toy and he's going to jump up and down like a little brat til they get it.
It's okay, ESPN told me that he only took a 2 year deal (with an opt out clause) so that he could help Cleveland for the future by being more flexible in stuff. Oh, and he also plans on getting as much money from them as humanly possible, so there's that.

Could you imagine if love got a serious injury at the start of the season(I don't wish it)and Cleveland had gutted all their young talent to get him? Then lebron takes off in his second year option and leaves them with nothing...

Be very careful Cleveland, lebron hasn't committed long term, why does he deserve the right to gm for the team?

A year before he left Cleveland and Miami it seemed "understood" that he would stay there too.

Even the Cavs aren't dumb enough to think that him staying there past his contractual obligation is a sure thing.

    1. You have no idea what's happening behind the scenes.

    2. The Cavs were trying desperately to acquire Love long before James came back right up until he flatly said he wouldn't extend here. When he changed his tune after LeBron was rumored to be coming back, talks immediately resumed.

    3. We have no clue what kind of offers are being made.

    4. Nothing has happened yet.

    5. You don't seem to understand how leverage works.

    6. You don't seem to grasp why James signing anything beyond a two year deal right now would lose him potentially 10s of millions of dollars when the new CBA comes down the pike in two years.

I'm going to close the thread until this thing is over. Then you can debate away. Right now, you're just guess-trolling.
