Compared to himself. I expected Lebron to play a Draymond type role. Pass/assist, defend, and score when necessary. I wanted him to hit the boards hard and push the tempo and slash and cut.
Instead he didn't know what to do against zone defense, which was the saddest thing I've ever seen a superstar go through. Right up there with T-Mac.
T-Mac being frustrated by zone is one thing. He's a scorer and zone defense is designed to stop the ball-handler.
But a pass-first player being beat by zone defense? That's asinine. Lebron just must not have known what he was doing. Yet Wade could score almost at will and Bosh stretched the floor and hit great shots and he was able to play his game.
But I agree his game 1 was good. If he had just kept playing like that they would have won in 5.
