It is a team accomplishment speaking in a general sense.
But the problem the OP is describing, I'll go in detail. Here is the Lebron stans' logic:
Heat/Cavs lose: Lebron has scrub teammates and didn't get enough help.
Heat/Cavs win: Lebron did it all by himself, still has scrub teammates.
