What the piece at the end of RCA wire called?
The metal piece at the end of the RCA wire (the part that plugs in) has fallen off of the RCA plug in to one of my speakers. I can't find it anymore. It's like a metal cap that goes over the plastic stem. Anyone know what it's called? And if they sell them?

You have to replace the entire wire. That cap is part of the wire and not some accessory piece.
Go to Radio Shack to see if they have that part....I am 100% sure they don't have it.
So go there to buy a new wire.

You can buy RCA cables for like $0.79 cents.

It's called a plug. Depending on the speaker you could probably get it to work without it.
You can probably go to your local Best Buy and find 100 RCA cables sitting in the recycling bin they have before you enter.

It's connected to the speaker. I don't think I can take the back wall off of the speaker to replace it. Would I have to splice the end off of the wire and rewire a new end piece to it?

Only the metal tip part of the plug fell off. It was just like a cap that covered this plastic tip.
