A dilemma at SG... Redd for Joe Johnson?

Hi guys

I'm new to this forum so I hope I'll get to know a few great people who love FNBA around the world.

Anyways to business....

Someone has just proposed a trade of Michael Redd (SG) for my Joe Johnson (SG, PG) because he needs assists and his Bibby just got injured.

Bear in mind that I drafted Johnson 11th in the 2nd round (23rd overall) and he took Redd 11th in the 3rd round (35th overall).

On face value it appears that Johnson might be the better deal here but I feel that, with Redd averaging 10% more on FT% and 1 TOpg less than johnson, he's actually the better player

Now I know that Johnson gets more rebounds and assists, but those aren't stats that are hard to get anyways. I just hate Turnovers dragging my team down.

What do you guys think about this situation?

BTW I already have Kobe and Randolph to give me headaches in turnovers

P.S. I read somewhere that bucks coach Larry Krystkowiak plans to let Redd make more plays, sacrificing PPG and possibly increasing his TOpg

Joe Johnson all day, Redd is only a 3 cat player. Points FT% and 3pm. I think you drafted JJ too high though, your team really could use an elite center in the 2nd round. Bogut is also too high...

JJ is far and away the no brainer here. Redd just shoots 3 pointers all day. He may give less turnover but JJ rebounds and assists more than redd ever will.

The guy needs a PG really badly so you can probably get more out of him then Redd, even if you think Redd is the better player.

Try going for a two-fer trade. Your Joe Johnson and say someone around the Kaman, Wilcox, Hughes area for his Redd and an upgrade on one of the previously mentioned players.

Remember he's the one that needs the PG so you have the bargaining power.

good point indeed. I'm going to attempt prying josh smith from him with my joe johnson
