Brandon Jennings dropped 29 points on the battered and short-handed New York Knicks fairly effortlessly Friday, though as the Detroit Pistons' point guard noted, he has a history of playing well at Madison Square Garden.

"I'm a walking 30 in here," he said.

OK, so that's a tad hyperbolic. Jennings has scored 30-plus twice here.

Regardless, when the Pistons extended their win streak to four by completing a three-game road sweep with a 97-81 win over the bad-when-healthy Knicks, it was Jennings single-handedly outscoring New York in the third quarter, 16-14, which turned a halftime lead into a rout.

They've played a pretty weak schedule over this streak. For me to be convinced they'll need to have some quality wins and sustained success.

It's the average winning margin that has me excited, it's around 18ppg average over those 5 games! And let's be real, beating the Cavs (with Lebron) by more than 20 is still a big feat no matter how you look at it.

This is impressive because these are the teams we SHOULD be beating. Can't wait to see how we match it against the Spurs in a few days time...

Clearly we can not keep this form up but it encouraging to get a glimpse of just how good our potential CAN be if we are able to build around this front court and perimeter shooting over the next few years...

I don't think beating the Cavs right now is a big deal. Let's see how they play after the trade they've made. Risky but at least they have more outside shooting. Right now though, a lot of teams have beat them.

Dre has been the best C in the league over this period, and Moose has looked like an all-star. Not to mention Jennings is playing great team ball and our team is spacing the floor and shooting the lights out every night...
