Am I stupid to try to get rid of Amare?

Morris Peterson
Mike James
Ronnie Brewer
Lamarcus Aldridge
Paul Millsap
Would it be stupid to try and move Amare or even Camby? I'm in need of 3s and assists. I was thinking of trying to package Amare and Salmons for Chris Paul and Andris Bierdrens. Is that too far of a reach?

your still weak on the boards and blocks even if you do it
I would aim to trade Jefferson instead
see if you can steal Raymond Felton or Chauncey Billups
His value is high right now
I severly doubt its gonna stay that way
last yr he wasn't all that special

but get another opinion too
I don't like losing big men in any league unless I had a surplus. FG percentages boards blks and low turnovers normally. So I wouldn't unless I had to!

Camby is like having 2 centers but he's injury prone
he will go down, but for how long is not known!
See who has Josh Smith and if they got a pt guard who has 3's and asst I'd work off that. Josh puts up Camby type numbers without the injury issues
and its a contract yr! so if you can get him with a good point, you should be straight. If they ask for Acie Law too DO IT if your gettin a top 10 pt guard.

I like the idea of moving Jefferson. This guy has murdered three fantasy seasons for me now so maybe I have it out for him...but nonetheless, hes been an injury plague.

Camby has put together a couple of moderately healthy years, I wouldn't be as worried about him anymore. Of course, with all players, you never know.

EDIT:

One more thought, big men are always harder to come by than little guys---elz has a couple of good suggestions, you should be able to get back some solid players if you do end up moving one of your big men. Dont sell low.

The easiest stats to fill off the wire are 3's and assists. Try the wire before you make trades.

But trading either Amare or Camby is a legit option with LA to move into the vacated spot.
