Why was Cleveland doing the hook/ladder play there at the end? No need to. They weren't going to come back and win, and now their best offensive player is hurt.

Good question. Then again, I stopped trying to figure out this team a long, long time ago. It was sad to see that stadium literally rocking at the start of the game, willing the team to a 0-0 first half... Can you imagine what it would be like if we were competitive? I'm not even saying 'good'... Just 'competitive.'
The most devoted fans in the NFL do not deserve this season after season and the rest of the league and its fans are missing out on what could be the funnest place in the NFL to watch a game if we could get a product on the field that remotely resembled a real professional team.

Being a Bengals fan, I've been in your shoes many times before. I was very surprised at the crazy atmosphere at the game, but then again, I shouldn't have been. Browns fans are a very passionate bunch, and though I am not a fan, I always like to see our state being represented well in pro sports (just not on the 2 dates a year you guys play the Bengals!).
Stuff like this just allows people to take potshots on the city of Cleveland as a whole. It would do wonders for civic pride in that region to see those guys win.
They are certainly a better alternative than the Steelers! (I was at the game on Sunday--not as raucous as an atmosphere as I expected)
The Cowboys are 1-16 in the last 10 years when the run less than 20 times.
Quote:
The Dallas Cowboys used only 14 rushing plays during Sunday's loss at Green Bay, matching their third-lowest number of attemtps in this century.
The loss dropped the Cowboys to 1-16 in this century when they run fewer than 20 times. The lone win came against lowly Detroit during the 2007 season.
Green Bay defensive coordinator Dom Campers said his group was able to pressure quarterback Tony Romo because the Cowboys essentially abandoned the running game.
``The game became one-dimensional,'' Capers told reporters. ``You can just go out and blitz, but if people are going to run the ball for big yardage on you, you're foolish.''

"I can't even put into words how upset I am at them for leaving him in like that,'' said agent J.R. Rickert in a text. "Fortunately, he's doing well.''
