Stop believing the bullshit above and go against those concepts and the sky is the limit. Parents of late millennials fvcked up because they didn’t challenge their children in the way they would historically have done for fear of being seen as “bad” parents. Chalk it up as failed parenting and carve your own destiny based on society's real expectations, rather than incorrectly assumed expectations.

No there were school buses but the difference is that the bus didn't stop in front of every last kid's house like it does today. I was like every 10 houses or so. These days the damn PTA won't let a kid walk 100 feet to a bus stop.

An average sized school 35 years ago had 5-6 busses for all the kids.
These days, a similar size school has 30+ buses

Canít these children walk to a bus stop rather than be dropped off in front of their home in developments that have side walks? Of course they can, but thanks to an increasingly warped view of what makes for a good American childhood (and a good American parent) they donít have to.

And people wonder why each generation after the previous one is softer.

Are you complaining because the kids have it better today? You are a pathetic faggot. Besides, you're on welfare. You should be the last one to complain about handouts and stuff like that.

33 points on 63% shooting, smooth-sailing win over a playoff team without Horford.

Kobe used to get the worst assists. Made a simple entry pass, Gasol/Bynum would hold, dribble, then shoot or even make a move and shot... ASSIST!

If I'm on welfare you must drive a cab and shine shoes all day. You should be the last one to complain about what I'm complaining about. Only a dumb shit would think that having more buses and the added expense is a good idea when that money could instead be utilized for something else at the school. Is there something special about kids today that they can't walk 100 feet to a bus stop, or are the parents so soft that they demand the kid be dropped off at the front door because said parent got tired of driving the kid 100 feet to the bus stop?

Did you know in FIBA rules if the player passes to a teammate who then goes fouled on a shot. If he makes the freethrows the original player passing him the ball gets an assist.

Honestly, if the pass led him towards the basket (you can't really tell by pictures), I would say that would be an assist.

I always thought that should be an NBA rule, except .5 assist.
