Who would have thought that at 22 and 23 the Nets could get anyone that is good at all? Well, they picked up argually the draft's best player and a dominant shot blocking presense. Two UConn guys too. Go Huskies!
While I wasn't thrilled with the Boone pick at first, I'm starting to warm up. He is a teammate of Marcus, he can block shots, he can rebound and finish in the paint, and their really weren't many other athletic big guys left.
If Boone turns out to be a poor man's K-Mart (shot-blocking, rebounding, defense and dunking) then I'll be very happy.
Marcus Williams was a great pick at #22, a flat-out steal. Of course, he won't help the Nets now. He's ready to play now, but he can't play at the same time as Kidd.
Boone was a wasted pick. He is 6 fouls, nothing more. I liked him as a freshman, but he didn't develop. He is nothing like Kenyon Martin, who is an athletic beast. He has no talent on offense at all. He is not a finisher inside. He is a misser inside.

man what are you talking about...Marcus Williams can make a huge difference this season. Giving JKidd time to rest will be great and keep him somewhat fresh for the playoffs, and Boone is definetly more than 6 fouls, if you've ever watched him play before...you probably think the same of Jason Collins...moron...
