The thread teaks of someone who never watched tiger in his prime and wants to have a different a opinion. Phil will never be better than tiger and there isn't really a point to argue about that.

Tiger hasn't won a major in 5 years and not a tournament in 3 years until recently.

During that time Phil has won, 3 majors and a tournament every year:

42. British Open
41. Waste Management Phoenix Open

2012
40. AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am

2011
39. Shell Houston Open

2010
38. The Masters

2009
37. Tour Championship
36. WGC CA Championship
35. Northern Trust Open

2008
34. Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial
33. Northern Trust Open

How does that make him the player of the generation. Tiger is in contention for almost every tournament he enters this year. And is the best golfer any of us will ever see in our lives and Phil is the player of the generation. I don't know why I'm with you because it is obvious you just want to be that one guy with a different opinion. No one will ever agr GALILEO ( Georgia's Virtual Library )
ee that Phil is better than tiger. Tiger is the second best to ever play while Phil is top 10 maybe. Lol at 3 in the past three years. Tiger won four in a row once.
