There are parks and lakes everywhere (biking, fishing, etc); restaurants that aren't franchised (for you new jersey guys - that's like for instance an italian place that isn't olive garden or johnny carinos, or a burger joint that isn't fudruckers - maybe you'd have to see one to understand - oh and did I mention most restaurants per capita?), all the professional sports and even more college sports, live music, low cost of living...
