8 years ago me and my roommate were dead-ass broke. Brokest I've ever been, I think I hand 30+ cents in my sofa and 3 cents in my checking account. We scoured the fridge and found these three items: Ketchup, cheese, and pita bread. From there, the story gets worse.

i like frozen pizza better than most delivery. red baron and mystic pizza are the best. but the best pizza i have ever had is from mellow mushroom. its mainly located in the south east and midwest:

http://www.mellowmushroom.com/index_main.php

here's the menu: http://www.mellowmushroom.com/downlo...hroom_menu.pdf

ive only been there once, but i got the most amazing pizza ever.

the might meaty pizza "Piled high with Pepperoni, Italian Sausage, Ground Beef, Ham and Bacon." it was soooo effing good.

I've been trying to figure out the reason for this, and the only logical explanation I can come up with is the quality of these national chains' products. I honestly do believe their quality of food has sharply taken a turn for the worse lately.

Anyone else notice this?

the quality hasnt changed, you've just grown more discerning

as usual this man knows what hes talking about. I like to add lots of brewer's yeast to the crust for that awesome flavor. For a while there I was making my own fresh goats mozz and doing a pizza margharita with homegrown tomatoes, basil, etc. brilliant. only two things that money cant buy and thats true love and homegrown tomatoes.

sounds good. we have about 20 varieties (mostly heirloom) in our greenhouse right now. If you ever get a chance (at a local farmers market or whatnot) try the persimmon (great low acid, meaty orange tom - big size). or the japanese black triffle (smaller, but man what a flavor). those were my two favs we grew last year.

the pizza out here is trash. like literally garbage, i haven't had a decent slice of pizza once and i've tried at least half a dozen different places. the only decent place which is considered the best pizza out here is literally average pizza in northeast.

northeast pizza>west coast pizza by far.

the chinese food is garbage too. weird. such a huge concentration of chinese people yet there is no good chinese food.
