Default Official Game Thread: 11/1/06 vs Pistons

Should be an interesting way to start off the season. The Pistons are a strong team, but will still be getting used to their new identity without Big Ben.

Meanwhile, we may or may not have Bogut ready, and Simmons will definately be out. Can Charlie V, Ersan, and Mo add enough scoring support to what we already know Redd will give us?

Who will chase Rip all over the court? Who will get a hand in 'Sheed's face on the perimeter?

Please use this thread to talk about anything related to the game.

Bogut will play!

"About (last) Wednesday I did a fitness test and passed it," said Bogut, who suffered a lower left leg sprain in the Bucks' intrasquad scrimmage at the start of training camp. "I did a full session on Saturday and a full session today, and I'm feeling fine.
So anybody care to make a prediction for this game?

Can't wait, it's finally here. A tough team right off the bat. The Pistons will give all the Bucks they can handle. It should act as a pretty good barometer of what this team is capable of. That being said, I'm gonna hedge my optimism with the fact that Bogut is back, but coming off what was initially called a 4-8 week injury and Simmons is not available. If Ruben plays well, which I expect him to do so, could it be possible that he unseats Simmons as the starter by the time Bobby's back?

I'm gonna nit pick here with ya adam, don't hate me for doing it

Are those pics in your header your projected starting 5?
Williams
Redd

Sort of. I know that Patterson will get the start over Ilyasova, but I couldn't find a picture of him in red and green. I guess I chose having a bench player in the lineup over having a picture of Patterson in a Nuggets jersey. After another couple games it'll be easier for me to find pictures of everybody.

If I wasn't so lazy, I would redo it to get Bogut in there, but that'll have to wait until game 2.

Damn, we're off and running!

I hope that Villy to Bogut pass is something we'll be seeing more of!

Great win by Milwaukee.
Redd was on fire.
I think they have a good chance of reaching the playoffs this year.
