Default if Minnesota decides to rebuild....

let's say that KG is on the trading block, how about:

to LA:
Kevin Garnett (3 years left)

to Minn:
Chris Mihm (contract last year)
Aaron McKee (contract last year)
Brian Cook (contract last year)
Lamr Odom (3 years left)

Minnesota gets LO7 who can fit in anywhere and three expiring
contracts putting them in the free agent game next summer with
lots of cap room. If they want Andrew Bynum instead of Cook, I'd
still do it!!

Minnesota is about $10mil over the salary cap so when all three of those LA contracts expire + the few MIN contracts that expire next summer, they'd still be just at the salary cap and would be able to offer only the mid level exception. Plus you'd probably have to add at least a 1st round pick to that package. Plus I don't think MIN has 3 roster spots available.

How many times does Kevin McHale have to say that he isn't gonna trade KG before you retarded fans realise he isn't coming to your beloved Lakers?

And if he somehow does get traded, what makes you think Mchale is willing to give him up for the crap you guys have?

Here's a rule for you might wanna consider: Top 10 Superstars aren't traded to teams within a Conference.

I would love to have KG, but probably without giving up Odom. However, even if the Wolves ever considered the trade they would want Odom. I still say pull the trigger.
