Default Cowboys trade Romo for Carson Palmer

How many cowboys fans would be happy with that trade? Im not a cowboys fans whatsoever but to me Romo can only take this team so far, which is not really that close to a SB anyway. I can pretty much guess when he is gonna make his classic Romo mistakes. He is still an effective QB and i bet some teams would entertain the idea of having him for other peices. Like for example, Bengals would gladly trade their pissed off Palmer for Romo.

I think the Cowboys need to mix it up. They have some talent offensively and just signed Witten to a long term deal, they just need a better QB who is less prone to make those mistakes. How good would Carson look in the Cowboys offense?

Romo > Palmer. I don't see why they would do this trade. Palmer has never been the same after his knee injury.

I can't defend Romo last night, for the first time ever I think he actually does have some form of mental issue in the clutch he needs to overcome...only way to beat it is too win a ring....he could get all th way to the SB and still be the biggest choker ever there.

that being said that trade idea and this thread are just retarded...Palmer is garbage right now, he couldn't even touch the post season

Romo was absolutely awesome for 3 quarters against a really harsh Jet's D...then turned into another person in the 4th...if he could defeat that demon and just stay as he is when he starts he would be elite...MAYBE he can do it, maybe he can't, only time will tell.

Im not saying the Cowboys should make this trade now based on a knee jerk week 1 reaction but its something they should think about. Jerry is all about making moves and there isnt a move i dont think he would do without at least considering.

And you are all underrating Palmer. he cant move as good as he used to but he is still a great pocket passer with a great arm.

Garrett didnt fumble the ball. Tony Romo did. You should like Skip Bayless right now.

And fumble happen? Yeah like near the goaline right? Come on. Romo tried to make a play with his legs and failed. You going to sweep that turnover under the rug? Stop.

I suppose some of the blame for that fumble should go to Romo, yes

I put 10x more emphasis on the INT though, that was just flat out unacceptable...fumbles DO just happen, at least I know and can see what Romo was trying to do there...with the INT I have no idea what he was thinking...

What fumble are you guys talking about? The muffed snap that he wasn't expecting and dropped?
