Game thread. I think we'll lose because we're playing without Artest, 4th game in 5 nights(or you could just say 2nd half of a back to back), I don't see how our team will have the energy to run with PHX. Unfortunately it looks like we'll drop below .500
This team can't hang with elite teams. They aren't fast or athletic enough for the suns, don't have the defensive quickness or size for the mavs, don't have the composure and execution for the spurs, and don't have the talent to be a top team. They are average. And unfortunately, average doesn't cut it in the West. Too bad they aren't in the East.

You ever realize that most teams with good perimeter defense have a big shotblocker down low that allows the guards to take chances on steals and traps.
Every shot attempt the kings take has 4, yes 4 guys on the 3 point line. WHY?????
Because obviously Kenny Thomas needs someone to kick it out to when he's posting up a guy like Dwight Howard or Duncan and he gets doubled. Then Ron Artest "the sharp shooter" will bury the open 26 footer. Atleast that's what will/should happen, just ask Musselman

Its Muss's Offensive sets. They are the same offensive set they used to teach at my high school. They never worked it right and the team eventually did the whole run and gun thing.
The Kings ran a high post offensive for a half a game or 2 earlier this year and it looked a lot better. They should go back to that.

The problem is that it only works when you make your shots, and when you don't have guys driving and drawing the double, you don't get open shots, and nobody is in a position to rebound the ball. It's a horrible way to play with this kings team. They need to go through the post and have guys cutting since we finally have low post players.
The draw-and-kick isn't working, so they need to feed their post player and let them work, and instead of kicking out and shooting, have guys cutting to the basket for layups and mid-range jumpers instead of chucking threes and having 4 guys beyond the arc.
the offense looks horrible when reef gets the ball out in the high post, he holds it there for like 6 seconds...then goes in...hold it too long and commits a turnover or takes a bad shot. he hasn't been hitting his miderange J, and it seems like sometimes he sees players open and just doesnt get them the ball.

Miller has no back to the basket game
SAR can't pass out of the double well enough.
K9 can't really post guys up because of his size and he is wildly inconsistent
