How to keep the grip on a basketball good?
So I just bought a new basketball (Spalding Highlight), because the grip on my old basketball is destroyed. I don't want what happened to my old basketball to happen to my new one. So are there any tips on how to make sure the grip on your ball doesn't worsen?
Thanks is advance.

Work on your grip strength. I do some stationary dribbling with some old TF1000's that have no grip whatsoever and I have no problem gripping or even palming them.

He's talking about preserving the basketball.
As for the OP, you can't do anything other than play indoors, which wears your ball the least.

This.
Buy a good ball (like Wilson Evolution or Spalding TF-1000) and never use it outdoors. It should last you a while that way.

Its a basketball. It WILL lose its grip. Now OR eventually.
