The main problem he'll face is whether he'll get along with coach Sloan and his demanding regimen.

Our 2 guard situation is intersting. I hope it turns into a king of the hill competition.

Fisher is experienced, clutch, a shooter, a defender. The only thing is he is a point guard. Too short for the two.
Giricek is a shooter in streaks, his playoff 3's were insane, hyper (big improvement) but marginal defender, streaky shooter (playoffs went well).
Brewer is athletic, quick, at times lockdown defender, can't shoot.
Miles is potential, aka hasn't done crap yet, but can shoot and has a large skill set.
Almond, i guess is a good shooter. He will love the curls off picks in utah's offense. 26 ppg was it? I bet if he sits it will be more becuase of attitude than defense.

I personally go for Brewer. At times when we saw williams, brewer, ak, milsap, okur, our defense was pretty tight. Plus with his vetical, and his knowledge of how to sink into a zone dead spot, that gets me out of me seat.

Morris Almond put up 51pts last nite in a D-League game. I know its just a D-League game but he was killing it.

Hey if he likes getting sent home, hell fit right in. And i think hes ready, jus like fesenko was... look at Kyle now, hes doin quite good i think :)

Miles seems to be stepping up at the moment.
That's the nice thing about Jazz rookies... they almost always look like busts during their first season due to the fact that Sloan simply doesn't play them, and one or two seasons later they baffle people.

Wow, so much has changed.

So Almond rode the bench in college until he learned the system, then he flourished in his later years in a stuctured offense. He also comes from a military family, can't hurt in Sloan relations.

He let it fly in the summer league. I bet he does the same in the D league.
