Here's a post I found on reddit
Ingram's standing reach so ridiculously high relative to his height and wingspan. He is only 6'9 with a 7'3 wingspan. Yet his reach is higher than Anthony Davis who is 6'10 with a 7'5.5" wingspan and 9'0 reach. Higher than Karl Towns who is 6'11 with a 7'3 wingspan and 9'1 reach. Ingram ties with Drummond who is 6'11 with a 7'6 wingspan and KD coming out of college at 6'10 with a 7'5 wingspan
Your arms start at where your shoulders are. So if Ingram has a short neck, smaller head, his shoulders might be where a 6'10 or 6'11 guy's shoulders would be. Chris Bosh is an example of a player with a really long neck. He is 2" taller than Ingram with same wingspan but a shorter standing reach than Ingram.
