All he has to do now is stay healthy. Once Pau comes back you can say goodbye to the 20\10 tho.

because he wears purple and gold, and when you do that you tend to not be very liked.

I'm not sure about that. Bynum was averaging something like 26/12/3 over his last 5 games before the injury and 21 ppg over his last 12 games.

Gasol saw Bynum emerging and Gasol willingly deferred and became the 3rd option. He's shown the ability to set Bynum up with nice passes from the high post as well. I'm sure with Gasol's unselfishness and Bynum's high level of play, Gasol will come back as the 3rd option until he works himself back into a rythym, particularly with Bynum playing so well.

Because we don't want to jinx it. Whenever this guy is playing great he gets injured or his production takes a huge drop-off.

Default So we gon front like Bynum ain't FEASTING on Amare?

    26/15 for Bynum
    8/5 for Amare

If you vote for Amare for the ASG C then you don't like NBA basketball

The Lakers are a better team when Gasol is the 2nd option and Bynum/Odom is the 3rd option, not the other way around.

When people were talking about Bynum, most people on the forum said that he was the most overrated Laker. Now that Bynum is going back to putting up 20/10, all of those people got awfully quiet.

Yeah, but until Gasol gets into playing shape again I expect to see him take it slowly especially since the Lakers are off to such a good start. Like I said, gasol was deferring to Bynum last year and that wasn't with Gasol coming back from an injury. I'd expect to see him do that again for a while.

Lakers are better with Gasol as there 2nd option. I'm not hating on Bynum just find it's going to be hard for him to get enough looks for 20+ on a consistent basis when the Lakers team is healthy. And wouldn't be surprised to see Gasol gobble up some of the rebounds too.
