Hell, my old CRTs always looked a lot better than my neighbors so called HD LCDs. LCDs are just the most inferior display tech there is. 80% of Americans used VCRs only as VCPs and didn't record anything. These people hated laserdisc player even though it had far better picture quality. The same people who prefered VHS over Betamax and Laserdisc are now buying LCDs.

you are a complete moron who may need to be fitted for prescription lenses.

No, you're a complete moron as I'm an ISF certified calibrationist.
You know nothing about displays if you think LCDs have better picture quality.
Have you even looked at the video to see what I'm talking about.
120hz Samsung LCD(on left) vs Panasonic Plasma on Right.

Well, my old CRT has 480 lines of motion resolution where as most LCDs HDTVS have 300 to 330 lines of motion resolution. My old CRT computer monitors have 1280 lines of motion resoluiton. CRTs have such a crazy fast response time that their motion resolution doesn't start to go down till you have extremely extremely fast motion(they're so good that the human eye probably can't even keep up by the time their motion resolution starts to drop significantly). CRTs are like bring a top fuel dragster to a 100m dash race as far as motion resolution retention is compared.

Funny thread. Identical source? Televisions calibrated correctly? Anyway, this thread is complete bull****. Videos games aren't unplayable on an LCD. A plasma won't burn in a health bar if you're playing Call of Duty for 8 hours one day. It all comes down to personal preference.
