ducksoup has an OK reputation so far
Default Donyell Marsahll for your love?

I thought this was a very lazy move for Ed. He had Quentin Ross out there with Bobby Jones. Both of these guys can at least play defense. Marshall has been washed up for 3 years. He shot 29% from happyland in 26 games last year. In the 2 years before that he played 81 games and shot 32.4 and 35%. In watching him on the bench last year, he looked like a retired player or coach. Ed has done a very good job since getting here, but his move gets no praise from me.

They needed a veteran backup power forward, and more outside shooting. As long as he's not playing more than 10 minutes per game, doesn't Donyell Marshell fit the bill??

When Kevin Ollie left we lost any kind of veteran leadership we had for our young guys.

Quote:
Marshall said his main role, other than knocking down open shots, will be tutoring younger frontcourt players such as Thaddeus Young, Marreese Speights and Jason Smith.

Said Marshall: "I think talking to the guys will be just as important as playing time."

Quentin Ross or Bobby Jones would have been more pointless.
