Kareem and Magic also had each other - two top 5 players playing on the same team. The Celtics team was stacked, sure, but not "2 top 5 players of all time" stacked. Think about it. People are complaining about LeBron joining up with another top 5 player and another top 15 player to win. Wade hasn't really played like a top 5 player this year, and Bosh is no longer a top 15 player, but that's just in the league at the moment. Imagine if he was able to play with a top 5 talent OF ALL TIME.

And Bird managed to lead a team to beat them in their prime.

Bird gets CRIMINALLY underrated on this board.
The other teams were still so good in the 80's, the Lakers still didn't win every year with 2 top 10 players of all time and great supporting cast. Think about that.

They went to 7 Finals with 5 victories in 10 years with no significant gaps in between (81, 83, 86). That's a pretty good return in anyone's books.

He becomes top 10. if He wins 3 title, he is top 5, if he wins 4, he is the GOAT.
    Assuming he keeps those numbers.
