Better flow and natural ball movement without the assist padder. They still aren't doing shit, though.

Volume assist point guards are overrated. Especially those offensively inept ones like Rondo. Always laughed at the dumbass Boston fans that keep saying he's better than Parker and on the same level as Chris Paul.

    Rondo is a great player.

Rondo ball isn't a great system.

So this is what it's going to be like for the rest of the year? The Bulls are playing really well without Rose and you don't see these threads. The Celtics were UNDERACHIEVING when Rondo was playing. They had 9 new guys this year and Doc didn't set lineups right since Bradley was missing. He was throwing guys in and out of the starting lineup. Now they look improved when they're playing AVERAGE ball and people aren't worried about playing time.

    1. Other teams have still been prepping for a Celtics team with Rondo as the starting PG. Game plans will adjust to better play the team. About 5 games from now teams will play them much differently.

    2. Other players are pulling together and finally playing more like a team, because two of their guys went down. A sign of solidarity and emotion they were lacking. There were chemistry issues and rumors of people having bad attitudes before this.

    3. They beat the Heat, Kings, Magic, Clippers, and Raptors. Kings, Magic, and Raptors are garbage, Clippers had no CP3, and they still had Sully and didn't know about Rondo during the Heat game. None of those victories really mean anything in my opinion.

    4. They move the ball a lot more without Rondo, but the amount of mistakes are significantly higher. So it looks smoother, but really isn't better. There is no one I would trust to handle ball against tough defense. Bradley, Lee, Terry, and Barbosa aren't PGs. Pierce can't do it either because he's lost a step and can't get by anyone.

    5. Doc is finally playing Barbosa.

    6. Without Rondo and Sullinger the team will be even worse at rebounding. The team is 29th in rebounding... And Rondo (4th on team) and Sully (3rd on team) combine for 29% of the rebounds. They will be the worst rebounding team in the league by far, and lose games purely on that alone.

    7. The team looks better in a half court set because Rondo is more suited for running, and the set up of the offense and way the team is built isn't conducive to running. Rondo would thrive on a fast breaking team like the way the Rockets are playing.

    8. Jeff Green, Terry, and Barbosa are putting up about 32 combined ppg these last 5 games. Rondo alone put up about 36 ppg if you combine points and assists.

    9. Bass is averaging 5 less points and 1.2 less rebounds this year.

Rondo is a great player no matter what way to try and shake it.

Celtics guard rotation - Arguably the best in the League
Celtics big men rotation - One of the worst in the league

So the +/- isn't a true indicator of your point.

The defense and ball movement is looking good right now without Rondo but believe it won't last for long.

Overrated ball hogger who's impact is clearly detrimental to the team... clearly.

This season, the Celtics offense and defense has been better with him OFF the court:

This season is totally on Doc Rivers. He thoroughly failed in implementing new players into the lineup. Took a ton of games to experiment and get the right lineups ultimately costing many games.

He tried that Ray Allen offense with Terry coming off screens to catch and shoot which is clearly not his game and Terry failed miserably in that!

My God, when will it stop? Melo goes iso way more than LeBron and shoots plenty of more shots than James . LeBron is the most efficient player in the game. Miami wants Boston to get the #8 seed. Miami isn't worried about Boston, whatsoever.
