If I was the GM of the Timberwolves, I would jump at this deal. We would improve our offense and increase our depth (scoring options) off the bench. Defense would still be about the same..limited. Plus, at the rate we are going, we could have as many as four or five picks in the 2009 draft or zero picks in the 2009 draft, depending upon how Boston, Utah, and Miami does this year. But at any rate, I would swing the deal.
Man, I'd rather take my chances on keeping Miller - he's been great in the past, and could just be having a slow start to the season. Bad, yes, but he could, and probably will, come out of his slump at some point.
