Default Props to Kurt Thomas

I don't know exactly why Thibs didn't even want to use him at all before Noah got placed in the IR list, I thought he was lazy at practice or what but the past 4 weeks or so, this guy is proving to be an adequate center in place of Joachim.
No, he is not registering great numbers nor he is doing spectacular plays like vicious blocks etc but just putting a body on huge guys like Shaq, not committing silly errors, doing the little things is vital for the Bulls success imo.
Im also a Lakers fan and I still had nightmares remembering when Karl Malone and Horace Grant got injured back in 2004. Lakers had to go to Slava Medvedenko in the finals which spelled disaster for the club.

He wasn't used for situations like this. Asik needed minutes to develop, so Kurt was just being saved incase of injury or later into the season. Benching him was very beneficial, it's not like his game is going anywhere. He's doing an awesome job. Very impressive defender at his age. He's pretty much Brad Miller that doesn't chuck three's and drive.

think Jurt deserves props as well. He's really stepped up and filled a void that I think had many scared. We do have quite a few big men though when all are healthy, so I think once Noah is back, we probably won't see much of Kurt again. However, I think th eplayoffs is a different story. It'll be extrememly nice to have a player like Kurt coming off the bench when the bigs are in foul trouble or need a rest.
