Star Wars: The Old Republic E3 opener trailer

I'm very tempted.

I've never played a MMORPG and I've hated everything about the Star Wars franchise that has been released lately but KOTOR was awesome. I think this is a game that tons of work has been/will be put into and will have great longevity.

Well apparently the game is already breaking presale records for games, so its hard to imagine a flop here.

Yeah saw that the other day, meant to post it here but forgot, my bad.

Sick video though! The decision making process for missions like that seems really interesting. Having to decide whether to let the NPC's live or die for the good of the mission, and knowing it'll have an impact on your character for the future, that's crossing ground never done before in an MMO. Couldn't believe when they agreed to let them die. The inclusion of light and dark points from KOTOR I and II is cool too.

I really hope this is good but I doubt it will succeed. I used to play WOW and I have tryed quite a few MMO's since and none of them have even come close to it.

I remember all the hype for Aion and to a lesser extent Warhammer Online and neither of those have done all that well. I may just have to get back on WOW instead.

Nope, regular testing.

Sadly, don't have the best of laptops, so I'm having to turn down the shadows and textures so my FPS doesn't have severe drops.

Not sure why the graphics preset is set to High, and that you're unable to change it.
