Default Where were you when the Towers fell?

I know it's been 11 years and some change, but i still remember like it was yesterday I was freshman in high school, we did't have TV's in every classroom and smart phones didn't exist so word was slow to get around. But man was it chaotic amosphere.

Where were you when the Towers fell?
What were the emotions you went through?
Did the events change you as a person?
Did it change your worldview?

I found out when I made it to school that morning (I was a junior in HS). Somebody told me a plane his the twin towers. Some people in the area I lived in referred to the Portland Convention Center's 2 glass towers as "The Twin Towers," So I imagine a small passenger plane wiping out the glass towers. That wouldn't have been nearly as bad as what actually happened.

I was 12 years old at football practice. I remember I didn't really understand the implications of what had just happened, but all the teachers and coaches were acting worried like I had never seen before, so I was really scared too.
