It obviously not about the money for him, it's a matter of how cool it is to be in the black ops ad... I surely wouldn't say no.

He's not being bashed cause no one in the media cares about this and no one cared that kobe was In it either. This commercial has actually been praised. This is all ESPN trying to create a story weeks after the fact. Not even the League cares, and all of sudden you got ESPN calling for them to discipline Kobe. WTH.

I have been a fan of Skip but i can only give him the benefit of the doubt for so long. He loves to hate on Terrell Owens & Lebron James. But loves to defend and overrate guys like Tebow & Farve. I fail to believe its just a coincidence.
And want put it over the top is when he compared it to his rape case

i'll say it again, the world is full of p*ssies.
if youre stupid enough to look at this as a incentive for violence or encouraging violence then youre a f*cking idiot.
the world is over sensitive and over censored as it is. no swear words on tv, guns shouldnt be in commercials, etc. get f*cked.

honestly, everyone should vote as far right as possible in the next election just so we can get these retards away from barring basic human rights. get the govt away from controlling everything and get these sensitive b*tches to shut up about censoring what i see on tv even further.

I've been playing shooters for years, and I have not felt compelled to go out Delonte West style, guns blazing.

I hate this debate. So dumb.

No, violent video games do not promote violence. Negligent parents do.

Combination of many factors, but violent games do play a role. A minor one, but still exists.

As for the article, it's not worth a comment. Upset that someone acted in a videogame commercial? Ridiculous...

Umm I'm kinda surprised by all of the reactions here. First of all, let me say that I LOVED the commercial. I thought it was awesome. I love the game, and even as a Kobe hater, the second I saw him, the more awesome I thought the commercial was. But I'm also not as sensitive as a big percentage of the country. I don't think its ridiculous to think that alot of people i.e. families of people in the military and shooting victims, would be offended by it. I doubt a parent who's kid was killed in the military or in a school shooting wouldn't be offended by the commercial and I can't really blame him for that.

I did think Skip overreacted and I think the other guy had good points about the "hypocrisy" of the NBA. But I definitely understand them when they say it was a bad idea by Kobe and the NBA to let this happen. Regardless of the commercial being right or wrong, it was a no-brainer that that commercial would make them a target for criticism. I don't think there is anything wrong in pointing that out.

the other black guy makes good points about the hypocrisy of David Stern. Actually fairly insightful.
