Normally I would agree with this, but 2 missed free throws and a wide open 3.

He also hit the game tying shot, so yeah not the least clutch. If you consider his insane usage, then yeah.

I interpret this in just the opposite way! Kobe should be praised for his insane usage in the clutch. It shows that he has the courage to take the shot. He even has stated this himself, numerous times. I don't have the exact passage at hand but it is something like this:

"When it is time for the last shot of the game, I wish to be the one taking it. Do not expect me to pass the ball. And if you-- another NBA player-- dare hold the ball, I shall tear it from your unwilling hands. Then I will hoist it towards the hoop. Make or miss-- and 64% of the time it will be a miss, mind you-- the fate lies in my hands. For I am Kobe 'the self-proclaimed Black Mamba' Bryant"
--Kobe "the self-proclaimed Black Mamba" Bryant

yes he has the courage, but the question the OP has is if he is clutch or not as in does he make it or not

Making it is overrated. How many people will remember this game? When it is all said and done, the only thing that really matters is that the final shot increased Kobe's unreachable shots-attempted record by 1.

I've seen Kobe missed two clutch free throws to win the game in under around 10 seconds left, before. It was around 5 years ago. He was +3 tonight thought. Only starter to be +.
