Default Actually, I Wonder If.....

BK has been trying to work some deals with free agents, but they just don't want to play in Philly.. AI has been plagued with the stigma that nobody will play well playing beside him.. True or not, could that be what's scaring some free agents away?? All money aside.. Because I'm sure the money we'd offer, they could get the same amount from other teams..

I would hope they could look at CWebb's numbers next to AI and realize that it is possible to play alongside Iverson..

You are absolutely right! C Webb has fantastic numbers next to Iverson and they are absolutely one of the leagues best duo's. Instead of getting credit for good play, Webber gets the usual "he's too old" and "he can't move like he used to". Those things may become true, but for now, appreciate what he's done for the team and what others may be able to do.

the problem with webb is the way he scores. he used to score at will, almost effortlessly. he seems to force a lot of action now and is never IN CONTROL of the game.

That's a very good observation. That's what I've noticed as well. He's shown flashes, but that's not enough to make up for his poor defensive play.

The problem is that the Sixers can't trade him or replace him with anything better. Iverson/Webber is one of the top duos in the league, no matter how frustrating Webber can be.
