I do think Georgetown has a good shot at winning the national title. I do agree that Xavier, Wisconsin, Butler don't have good chances at winning national titles. I will say Stanford does just because I am bias towards them being my hometown team. I can see Michigan State getting to a final four. To me there are only about 2-4 or 5 teams that even have a realistic shot at winning the title. But then again like you said there could be a team that just sneeks up on you like a George Mason that can get to the final four or even win the NC.

I agree that Duke and NC won't win the title (I've said this many times).

However, UConn and Indiana don't either.

I don't think they will, either. If you list eight teams that you think are most likely to win it, that means there's still seven teams on the list that you don't think WILL win it. I think right now it's Kansas, UCLA, and Memphis with a little bit of separation from the rest.

As usual, I don't think I- or anyone else- say who I think will win the title until, y'know, the bracket is actually out. If there's one or two teams a cut above the rest, like with UNC and Illinois in 2005 or Duke and UConn in 2004, that's one thing. I don't think that's the case this year.

True. Florida was a 4th seed the first year they won...but I don't like saying teams like that have a good chance of winning because it's like finding a needle in a haystack.

Thomas has had a rough game, they need to play Ginyard at the point. Duke has been money from three but can they keep it up in the second half.

They were a No. 3 seed, actually. And you're right, you do kinda have to reach, but like I said, I don't believe every team in the Top 10 throughout the year has a legit shot at competing for the title, and there are often teams that aren't ranked quite that high that do. There are certain championship elements you can find in teams that haven't quite put it together over the course of the year.

Of course, the '06 Gators weren't quite like that. They started 17-0 and were ranked No. 2, hit a late-season slump, then put it back together and were hot going into the tourney. They were one of the elite teams in the country for all but a couple weeks that year.

Thats it. without the presence of lawson, and the presence, but not contribution or gren and ellington, carolina has no chance to win this game. queintin thomas is ok.... not really, but whatever. if paulus shoots that well from three, the game is over. carolina simply can shoot other that green and elington. this really shows carolinas weekness. paulus cant drive, but he can shoot.

ROY WILLIAMS needs to tell him team. GET THE BALL TO HANSBROUGH!!!!!!

when they did that, they scored, but they came away from it. keep giving him THE BALL!!!!!!!!!

they are way better, but without the presence of their starting or back-up point guard, what do you expect. take away paulus and there is no was duke wins. duke is tough, but they dont have enough to go all the way, and neither does unc.

Missing your starting and backup pg's make a difference I guess.

NC is still has a much better shot at going all the way in March of healthy.
