Pretty fair and unbiased analysis.
I'm a bit worried about perimeter defense, but Nash's issues on the defensive end have been overrated in the past. He is pushing 40, though, so we'll see.
I'm interested in seeing how the Lakers deal with small ball, especially against Miami. Bosh at the 5 with Lebron at the 4 was how they beat OKC, but Perkins isn't exactly Dwight on defense.
All in all, it should be a very interesting year. It will be considered a huge underachievement if the Lakers don't clear 60 games and at least get to the Finals.

lol true, Howard isn't a great passer either but let's not forget he was the focal point of the Magic offense. On the Lakers he'll be playing with Kobe, Nash, and Pau which will take some of the attention off him. Hopefully that'll cut down on his turnovers...but you're right he is a turnover machine too.
Also Bynum did average 2.5 last year which was his break out year where teams really had to pay attention to him.

they improved a lot (obviously) but did they find someone to cover the westbrooks, lawsons of the world? they had all kinds of trouble with them 2 in the playoffs last year. i guess it will reduce the # of times speedy PGs will come down the lane with dwight there, but this is the age of making pull-up jumpers too.

This is once again a misplaced criticism. No they did not find anybody to stop Westbrook/Lawson, but that is mainly because such a player does not exist in the world. How you guard them is with team defense, which Dwight is an improvement on. It's not like Mario Chalmers was shutting down Westbrook in the Finals.

the reason bynum clogged the lane was because he has no range, replacing him with dwight doesnt really help in this department
