What position would Ron Artest play in football?
I had an argument with a friend today about it. He is a Artest-hater and kept saying Artest wouldn't last for a minute on a football field. Guy is listed at 260 pounds, and he is strong as hell (seen him guard some huge centers like Ben Wallace; now that's strength). I argued that Artest would be able to play LB and maybe some TE. He wouldn't be a top player at those positions, but I think he could hold his own. And the Auburn Hill malice does not mean anything here; it is IRRELEVANT TO THIS ARGUMENT! Artest-haters always bring it up into every argument for some reason, even if it's not relevant to the specific argument.

Offense like TE or RB?
He's definately a defensive player. LB or DE. I dont see how none of you can see that is the best positions for a guy of his caliber. TE is worthless and HB is a waste. I dont even see him being good at that position.
Put him on the Ravens, 49ers. Get out of the way.

TE or FB. Can't imagine him being a disciplined football player though. Think James Harrison without the football skills.

We know he couldn't play QB b/c he doesn't know who to pass it to with the game on the line.
