It was badass but yeah, some people aren't going to like War of the Worlds/Jurassic Park angle the movie takes.

Me, I personally liked it better than all these superhero blockbusters that look the same.

It's up to you. I watched it in 3D. Originally I thought I'd hate it but it looked great. And yes, it is better than Pacific Rim.
