that isn't why the united states got involved in ww2. that's just the background.

the history is that the united states strongly supported the hitler's moderate national socialists. it was english and french declarations that jolted the world into action, and america followed along once it had war declared against it by the nazi's and more importantly the japanese who could threaten colonies like the phillipines. there was nothing proactive from the state department until late in the game, if they were truly concerned about hegemony they would have taken action earlier.

Yes but historically they were segregated (often by their own accord), had a different culture, different view on German society etc. IF they were drastically out-reproducing gentile Germans at the time (which I dont know the stats on) then of course other Germans would have every right to say "whats going on here?"
