In Vick's defense, he did have sh!tty receivers. Alge Crumpler? Brian Finneran? Those guys should have been CFL'ers.

eh, crumpler was a good tight end. def didnt belong in the cfl. just curious, but do you know the difference between a tight end and a wide receiver?

Alge was one of the best TEs in those days. Dual purpose, a guy who could catch and become a 6th OL for your ground attack which Atlanta excelled at. He may not have been dynamic of a WR, but definately a QBs best friend when your WRs struggle to get open. Very dependable. Do your homework hockey boy!

Yes I do know the difference and Crumpler got just as many looks as a WR. Crumpler and Finneran got looks because Vick got so much attention because of his speed.

And I could throw a few others in that list if you take away the "white" requirement and just say "slow quarterbacks"
Those two will never be on the level of Michael Vick.

nah, you are way off. crumpler got good looks cause of his giant ass and overall body. he could turn and face the ball and keep the defender off. great and versatile tight end.

He also is one of the dumbest MF's in history, getting into trouble for about the stupidest reasons imaginable. He ran a dog fighting ring while being the starting QB of the Atlanta Falcons with a $10M plus yearly salary. I'd bet anything on his sabatoging his own career ahead, and not coming anywhere close to the HOF.

    35-32 Eagles a win is a win.

    Vick: 21-34 284 yards passing 2 touchdowns 0 interceptions 40 yards rushing
    2 games, 0 interceptions.

I know right and the coach was trying to make him into a passing quarterback. Crumpler was good with Vick though.

The best thing is we haven't seen the best of Vick, he is a remade man. I could only imagine if he had a Vernon Davis at TE and at WR an Andre Johnson. Will the Pat Riley of the NFL please stand up?
